As the summer graduations at University of Birmingham have come to a close, the air is filled with a mix of pride, joy, and anticipation. This is a time to celebrate the achievements of new graduates and to look forward to the bright futures that lie ahead.

We are thrilled to announce a special initiative that not only honours these graduates but also supports a worthy cause.

Celebrate with us

From Tuesday 9 July to Friday 19 July, we welcomed all new University of Birmingham graduates to celebrate Graduation Week with us at Edgbaston Park Hotel. To mark this occasion, we offered graduates an exclusive 15% discount on our flexible bed and breakfast package. This was our way of saying congratulations to the future generation. Throughout the week, we welcomed graduates for relaxing staycations and celebratory meals at our 1900 Bar and Restaurant, and we were thrilled to be part of their special moments.

Giving back to St Basils

Along with the discount, we are committed to giving back to our local community and helping the next generation. For every new University of Birmingham graduate who booked with us during Graduation Week, we made a donation to our chosen charity of the year, St Basils. This incredible organisation works tirelessly to prevent youth homelessness, providing support and resources to young people in need. We are proud to share that through this initiative, we successfully raised over £1,000 for St Basils.

Join us in making a difference

We believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Our ongoing efforts to support St Basils are a testament to this commitment. Our Volunteering Committee has been actively working on fundraising initiatives, including a summer bake sale, donation drives, and organising a Family Fun Day in August where all proceeds will go directly to the charity.
